Frequently Asked Questions

We don't have a price list as bisque (blank pottery) designs change regularly. You just pay for what you choose to paint on the day, items start from £10.00 & we don't charge a studio fee.

First you choose your blank bisque from our selection of pottery then you paint with special paints to create your own designs. Once you have finished painting, we glaze and fire in our kiln to over 1000 degrees to make sure all food items are safe and to make it glossy. Painted pottery is ready to collect in approx 7-10 days, you will receive a text once it's ready to collect.

Sessions can be booked on our website, we charge £2 deposit per person to hold your table this lets us know what size table you require. The £2 deposit/s will be deducted from your pottery at the end of your session. Sessions last up to 2hrs, last painting is 1hr before close.

Choose your party and contact us to check availability via the contact form. We require a completed booking form and a £20 deposit to secure all parties. Due to space restrictions a maximum of 2 adults is required to stay with the children during our parties.

If you would like to celebrate your childs birthday at Poppins Pottery but don't require the private party room we can accommodate you in the main studio.

Yes, we can do private functions during/after opening hours. Please contact us to discuss further.

Yes, we can bring everything you need to your group, alternatively you can collect from us and once you are finished you can return it to our studio. Please contact us to discuss further.

Yes, we can post your pottery for an additional charge of £9.95 per parcel within the UK. Pottery is packed securely and sent via Royal Mail tracking service.

Unfortunately not, due to insurance purposes we cannot fire pottery that hasn't been made/painted in our studio.

Yes, there are a few steps to gain entry into the studio. We have a ground floor table available to book pleae let us know if you require this table. W/C is upstairs.

Cold drinks can be purchased from us prices start from £1.00. We respectfully ask that you refrain from bringing in your own food and drinks unless you have booked one of our parties or are visiting on Fizz Friday events. Thank you

Parking is not available on site, however Hampton Avenue car park is a 2 minute walk. There is also free on street parking around.
