Pottery Painting & How does it work?
Painting Pottery is a fun, creative activity that suits all ages. There is no better way to spend a little prime time making memories with friends or family than relaxing in a creative environment and decorating together. You don't need to be an artist to enjoy as we have sponges, stencils and stamps to get creative with (along with plenty of inspiration from our Studio staff) - see below for how it works!
If you'd like to take your pottery away on the same day you can paint in our high quality acrylic paints.
Choose a piece of pottery
We have a good range of blank pottery (bisque) to choose from with prices ranging between £10-£40 for our most popular items, with no added studio fee.
Paint it
Paint your chosen blank pottery with our underglazes. Freehand your artwork or use our sponges, stamps and stencils to decorate.
Leave with Us
Your pottery stays with us to be glazed and kiln fired. Once professionally finished and made food safe it's made ready for collection/posting.
Did you know you can take your pottery piece away on the day?
Paint your artwork onto your chosen pottery piece using our high quality acrylic paints. When painted in acrylic items do not require a glaze firing like special our underglazes. We can provide you with a clear glossy varnish which can be put on when the paint is dried, this gives it a glaze like finish. Acrylics can only be applied to non functional items as the gloss/paints don't make the pottery food safe, just let a staff member know on arrival.
